Account-Based Social Selling
Your Account Team probably knows the champion. The program helps them reach everyone else.
The unit of strategy is the buying group, not the individual seller's activity count
Most LinkedIn and social selling programs focus on the individual: better profile, more posts, more connection requests. The Account-Based Social Selling Program focuses on the account: which stakeholders matter, who from the Account Team should reach them, how relationships are built deliberately, and whether coverage is actually growing across the buying group.

The Program runs in a defined sequence. Most of the configuration and preparation work happens on HiFuture’s side between workshops. Client involvement is focused – the right people in the right sessions, with access to account context, Sales Navigator licenses, and CRM information agreed upfront.
3 workshops
1 configured system
1 playbook the team can use immediately
Configuration and preparation
Confirm the account portfolio, Account Team participants, Sales Navigator licenses, CRM environment, Intelligence Report inputs, and required access. Define the focus accounts, buying scenarios, and the governance model before any mapping or configuration begins.
What we need from you:
access to Sales Navigator, CRM documentation, account list, and a named Account Owner per account.
Workshop 1 - Strategy Foundations
Every participant leaves with a clear view of the account, the relationships that matter most, and the immediate actions required before the next conversation
What we need from you:
Attendance of Account Owners, Account Executives, and any presales, Marketing, or expert contributors involved in the focus accounts.
Sales Navigator configuration
HiFuture develops one recommended strategy: the category and positioning, expertise domain architecture, strategic topics, knowledge owners, Authority Signals priorities, six-month roadmap, operating model, KPI framework, and Implementation Catalogue.
What we need from you:
This step requires nothing from your team beyond access and a brief review of the configured structure before Workshop 2
Workshop 2 - Strategy Development
We assign relationship owners across the Account Team for each priority stakeholder. We define LinkedIn presence requirements for participants, create the account-specific engagement and content plan, establish the weekly Sales Navigator workflow, agree KPIs, and set CRM handoff rules.Every participant leaves with a named set of relationships to own, a content and engagement direction, and a clear operating rhythm.
What we need from you:
Attendance of the same group as Workshop 1, plus any executives or SMEs assigned to specific relationships.
Account-Based Playbook delivery
HiFuture delivers the Playbook documenting the account workflow, participant roles, relationship priorities, engagement sequence, content plan, tracking rules, and KPI framework. This is the operating document the team uses to run the program independently after the workshops.
What we need from you:
one review and approval session before the Playbook is finalized.
Workshop 3 - Strategy Review and Optimization
Review execution progress, relationship coverage, team participation, account learning, and KPI results. Identify what is working, where adjustments are needed, and what the next iteration should prioritize.
What we need from you:
Attendance of Account Owners, Sales leader, and any contributors whose participation or results need to be reviewed.
A configured system, a working playbook, and a measurement framework the team can use independently after the program ends.
The Program does not end with a training session. It ends with a documented operating model, a configured Sales Navigator environment, and a set of tools the Account Team can run without HiFuture’s ongoing involvement – unless they choose to add the optional managed monitoring module.
Configured Sales Navigator environment
The agreed structure built around the focus accounts: focus-account lists, saved searches, prioritized lead lists, stakeholder tags, trigger-event alerts, and the weekly or monthly review workflow. Configured before Workshop 2 and validated by the Account Team before the program closes.
What it looks like: a shared Sales Navigator environment every participant can navigate consistently, with the same account logic and the same stakeholder view.
Three workshop outputs
A documented output from each workshop: the validated buying-group map and immediate action plan from Workshop 1, the relationship ownership model and engagement plan from Workshop 2, and the progress review and next-iteration priorities from Workshop 3.
What it looks like: structured notes or documents prepared by HiFuture after each session, shared with the Account Team before the next step begins.
Account-Based Playbook
This is the document the Account Owner uses to run the weekly or monthly review, onboard new team members, and brief Sales leadership on coverage and progress.
What it looks like: one Playbook per program covering all focus accounts, with account-specific sections for stakeholder maps and relationship ownership
KPI Dashboard and Tracking Framework
A defined measurement model separating activity from relationship progress, with agreed tracking methods for each KPI area. Built around available Sales Navigator, CRM, and reporting capabilities – and documented so the team knows what to measure, where to record it, and how to interpret the results.
What it looks like: a shared tracker or dashboard the Account Owner updates at each review cycle and uses to brief Sales leadership.
Managed Monitoring Module (optional)
After the core program, clients that need additional support can add ongoing managed monitoring. HiFuture reviews public account changes, maintains buying-group maps, identifies new stakeholders, updates engagement priorities, supports KPI reviews, and recommends next actions at agreed intervals.
The Account Team remains responsible for relationship judgment, direct engagement, opportunity management, and CRM accuracy. HiFuture supports the monitoring and map maintenance that keeps the operating model current.
What it looks like:a periodic review cycle with updated maps, a priority list, and recommendations delivered to the Account Owner before each team review.
What the KPI Dashboard tracks?
The Implementation Catalogue creates a clear division of responsibility – so nothing falls through the gaps and no one is surprised by scope.

CRM and account-plan alignment
One Account Owner coordinates. Everyone else contributes where they create the most value.
The Program is designed for the full Account Team – not for the Account Executive alone. Each participant has a defined role, a specific set of relationships to own, and a clear contribution that the Account Owner coordinates. The objective is peer-to-peer and expert-to-expert engagement, not uncontrolled outreach from multiple people without a shared account view.
|
CLIENT-SIDE ROLE |
PRIMARY CONTRIBUTION |
|
Strategic Account Manager / Account Owner |
Owns the account plan, Sales Navigator structure, buying-group map, relationship priorities, coordination, and review rhythm. The Account Owner is the person who keeps the program running between workshops and ensures that relationship activity connects to the commercial opportunity. One Account Owner per focus account. |
|
Account Executive |
Develops commercial relationships, validates the buying process, connects LinkedIn and Sales Navigator activity to active opportunities, and ensures that relationship-building translates into qualified conversations and pipeline progress.
|
|
Presales or technical specialist |
Builds credibility with technical evaluators, solution architects, security reviewers, and implementation leads – the stakeholders who assess feasibility, risk, and fit at a level the Account Executive may not reach alone. Expert-to-expert engagement is often more trusted than a commercial conversation at this stage.
|
|
Executive sponsor |
Creates peer-level access and strategic relevance where senior engagement is justified and adds value. Executive involvement works best when it is prepared, purposeful, and connected to a specific account objective – not used as a generic relationship-warming gesture.
|
|
Subject-matter expert |
Contributes domain knowledge through content, comments, webinars, working sessions, and direct conversations with the stakeholders who evaluate capability at depth. SME participation gives buyers a reason to trust the expertise behind the commercial offer.
|
|
Marketing contributor |
Supports account intelligence, content selection, expert activation, and campaign coordination for the focus accounts. Marketing’s role in the Program is account-specific – aligned to real buying-group needs, not generic campaign delivery.

Questions buyers often ask before commissioning Account-Based Social Selling
Do we need the Buying Group Intelligence Report first?
It is the recommended first step and the standard foundation for the Program. If the client already has current, reliable account intelligence, HiFuture can review it and confirm whether it is sufficient. You do not have to buy it.
Is Sales Navigator required?
The Program is designed around Sales Navigator as the core account and stakeholder monitoring tool. The exact configuration depends on the client’s available licenses, CRM integration, regions, and internal policies.
How many accounts are included?
The standard scope can cover up to 15 focus accounts. Larger portfolios or additional markets require an expanded scope.
How many stakeholders are mapped?
The working assumption is approximately 10–15 relevant stakeholders per account, depending on the buying scenario, public information, opportunity maturity, and direct Account Team knowledge.
Who participates from our side?
One Account Owner coordinates each account. Strategic Account Managers, Account Executives, presales, executives, subject-matter experts, Sales Professionals, Marketing contributors, and other relevant colleagues participate selectively.
Does every stakeholder receive a connection invitation?
No. The team prioritizes the people for whom a connection is relevant and assigns the right internal participant. Observation, content engagement, introductions, meetings, expert participation, or offline interaction may be more appropriate.
What does HiFuture configure in Sales Navigator?
The agreed structure can include focus-account lists, saved Account and Lead searches, prioritized Lead lists, stakeholder tags, first- and second-degree connection analysis, alerts, trigger-event monitoring, engagement priorities, and the review workflow.
How do we track invitations and active relationships?
HiFuture defines a KPI dashboard and tracking method for invitations sent, accepted connections, relationship owners, active contact, content engagement, private LinkedIn messages, meetings, and other relevant interactions. The exact method depends on available platform, CRM, and reporting capabilities.
Does HiFuture maintain the account maps after the Program?
Ongoing monitoring and map updates are available as an optional managed module. The core Program configures the structure, maps the buying groups, creates the workflow, and trains the Account Team.
Does HiFuture send messages from our employees’ accounts?
No. HiFuture does not impersonate participants. Account owners, executives, experts, and other contributors retain control of their profiles and approve their own direct engagement.
Can the Program support active opportunities?
Yes. It can support live opportunities, strategic-account development, expansion motions, executive programs, or an agreed account portfolio, provided the team can share the required commercial context.
Does the Program include content creation?
It includes account-specific content and outreach recommendations and identifies required evidence and expert perspectives. Production can be included as a separate workstream or delivered by the client or another agency.
Does the service guarantee meetings, pipeline, or revenue?
No. Commercial outcomes depend on the offer, account need, relationships, competition, timing, Sales execution, and factors outside the Program. HiFuture improves the structure, coordination, relevance, and measurement of account engagement.
How is the Program priced?
Pricing depends on the number of accounts, participants, markets, Sales Navigator and CRM environment, intelligence requirements, workshops, profile and content scope, expert involvement, implementation support, and optional managed monitoring.
Ready to give your Account Team a structured way to cover the full buying group?
Most Sales leaders who come to us already know the problem. The team is good at the champion relationship. The rest of the buying group is either unknown, uncovered, or reached too late to make a difference.
The first step is a free 45-minute conversation with Katarzyna Sitarska, founder of HiFuture.
We will talk about the focus accounts, the current team structure, how Sales Navigator is being used today, and where the biggest coverage gaps are. If the Buying Group Intelligence Report has already been completed, the conversation can move directly to Program scope and timeline. If not, we will help you decide whether to start there first.
We will also give you an honest view of what the Program requires from the team – because a Social Selling Program that the team does not use after the workshops is not a program. It is a training event.
- A direct conversation about the account portfolio, team structure, and current Sales Navigator setup
- A clear recommendation on whether to start with the Intelligence Report or go directly to the Program
- An honest answer on what team commitment is required for the Program to work
